Today we fly off to Kuala Lumpur via Amsterdam missing the whole Christmas/New Year fiasco in exchange for sunshine and heat. I intend to keep posting during this time but for the moment it occurred to me to don my Mystical Hat of Prediction and reveal to you some prophecies for 2008.
In 2008:
- There will be voting ‘irregularities’ in the US presidential elections.
- Climate change will be used as an excuse for just about anything (rising prices, failure to deliver etc.)
- Osama Bin Laden will not be in an American Jail.
- US will kidnap anyone they like and put them in an American jail.
- More people will die whilst being tazed than in 2007.
- More people will die in the UK from DIY related accidents than from terrorist acts.
- The waiting time for a GP appointment will still be 2 weeks.
- The government will not change their SOCPA provision despite ‘public consultation’.
- Not a single member of the Bush administration will serve jail time.
- Gordon Brown will not stay in his job.
- House prices will fluctuate.
- Politicians will lie.
- The weather will be changeable.
- Someone famous will die.
I guarantee I get more right than Sylvia Browne.

Disagree with “More people will die in the UK from DIY related accidents than from terrorist acts” and “Gordon Brown will not stay in his job.”
There will be more terrorist attacks in 2008. The chances are that these Jihadists might be a bit more competent than those muppets who did the London car bombs and the Glasgow airport car fire.
GB will still be PM despite more data losses and government foul ups.
